A Vision Fulfilled: Bringing Hope to the Most Vulnerable

Together, we continue to build not only homes, but futures filled with faith, hope, healing, and love.

The vision of St. Margaret Mary’s Home for Women and Children—to bring God’s loving compassion through the powerful intercession of Mary’s Immaculate Heart to abused, abandoned, and exploited children, youth, and women—has become a reality.

On January 30, 2026, the first prototype of the 25-Resident Facility at Sitio Ylaya, Tuminjao, Tuburan, Cebu, Philippines was completed. This milestone marks the beginning of a sanctuary where healing, restoration, and hope will flourish. The first group of children is expected to move into the facility before June 2026, in time for the opening of the new school year.

Programs and Services

The new residential home will provide comprehensive care and holistic development through the following programs:

  • Basic Residential Care
  • Psychological and Mental Health Services
  • Medical, Dental, and Healthcare Services
  • Education and Child Development
  • Spiritual and Values Formation
  • Case Management and Family Support Services

The First Modular Prototype

The completed 25-resident dormitory is part of the First Modular Prototype, consisting of three essential buildings:

  • Building A: Residential Dormitory for 25 residents
  • Building B: Kitchen, Dining Facility, and Multipurpose Hall (prototype serving up to 100 residents)
  • Building C: Administrative Building (prototype supporting up to 100 residents)

A Five-Year Vision

This prototype serves as the foundation for a much larger community of care. Over the next five years, the project aims to construct:

  • 20 Residential Dormitories, accommodating 25 residents each, for a total capacity of 500 children and women.
  • 5 Kitchen, Dining, and Multipurpose Buildings, each serving 100 residents.
  • 5 Administrative Buildings, providing comprehensive support services for every 100 residents.

As of February 2026, construction of Buildings B and C has already begun and is expected to be completed by September 2026, bringing the first module closer to full operation.
