A DINNER FOR A CAUSE
First fundraiser event for 2026. To give update on the project of First prototype at Tuburan. The event was a gathering of friends, families and church organizations in Antioch with dancing and sharing.
The first One Plate, One Hope: A Dinner for a Cause gathering of 2026 marked a meaningful milestone for Radiant Light Philippines, Inc. (RLPI). During this special evening, RLPI shared the remarkable progress of its first major project—the Prototype Residential Facility in Mt. Tuburan.
At the time of the event, Building A, the Dormitory designed to house 25 residents, was already in its finishing stage and scheduled for completion in the end of January 2026. At the same time, construction had begun on two additional prototype structures:
These developments represent an important step toward RLPI’s long-term vision. The entire project is designed to accommodate 500 residents, with the full campus planned for completion within five years.
During the evening program, guests were presented with an overview of the 2026 development plan, including funds already received, donations committed, and the projected costs required to complete the first module of the project.
Attendees also watched a construction progress video update presented by the project manager, Cleomard “CJ” Allego, highlighting the current state of construction and the projected timeline for the remaining work, with a target completion date of June 2026.
The gathering took place in the beautiful garden of the RLPI President’s home in Antioch, generously prepared for the occasion. Special thanks go to Gilbert and his son Nick, whose hard work transformed the garden into a warm and welcoming setting for the evening.
The event was blessed with the presence of a diverse and supportive community, including members of the Divine Mercy prayer group, parishioners from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, and friends from the Cursillo community. Their presence reflected the shared spirit of faith, compassion, and service that sustains this mission.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Divine Mercy group, who generously sponsored and adopted a room for $8K to support this initiative. Their commitment and generosity deeply inspire us.
At Radiant Light Philippines, we often say that this sacred mission cannot be accomplished alone. It requires the prayers, support, and commitment of many hearts working together to bring hope and healing.
Together, we continue to bring Radiant Light to the most vulnerable children of our Lord!
