GATHERING OF FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS WITH DANCING & SHARING
On September 20, 2025, One Plate, One Hope: A Dinner for a Cause came to life as a beautiful and spirit-filled gathering of friends, retirees, and neighbors. Through the kindness and generosity of Henry and Minette Cruz, we were able to hold the event in their studio. What began as a simple, last-minute idea blossomed into a meaningful evening of generosity and joy.
Radiant Light Philippines, Inc. (RLPI) had decided to host this special event in September, and through God’s providence, it became a night to remember. After hearing RLPI’s heartfelt presentation about our sacred mission to protect and uplift exploited women and children, our guests—many of them generous retirees and kindhearted neighbors—opened their hearts and shared their blessings abundantly. With God’s prompting, their compassion filled our “basket of plenty,” reminding us once again that where love abounds, miracles follow.
The evening continued with lively karaoke music featuring beloved Filipino songs and regional ballads. It was a night of fun, laughter, songs, and dances—where fellowship and faith harmonized beautifully. Through music, movement, and shared joy, we were able to spread awareness of our mission and inspire new hearts to join us in serving our brothers and sisters in Christ.
