15th Benefit Event – ONE PLATE. ONE HOPE.

A DINNER FOR A CAUSE

Gathering of friends from Vallejo CA and neighboring towns with dancing and witnessing.

The second One Plate, One Hope: A Dinner for a Cause gathering of 2026 marked another important milestone for Radiant Light Philippines, Inc. (RLPI). During this special evening, RLPI shared the continued progress of its first major project—the Prototype Residential Facility in Mt. Tuburan.

A significant achievement celebrated during the event was the completion of Building A, the Dormitory designed to house 25 residents, finished in January 2026. Construction is now continuing on two additional prototype structures:

  • Building B – the Kitchen, Dining, and Multipurpose Hall, designed to serve up to 100 residents.
  • Building C – the Administrative Building, which will support the operations and programs for the growing community.

These developments represent an important step toward RLPI’s long-term vision of building a campus that will eventually serve up to 500 residents, with completion planned within five years.

During the evening program, guests were introduced to the history and four-pronged charitable mission of RLPI, as well as the vision behind supporting St. Margaret Mary’s Home for Women and Children in Tuburan — a sanctuary providing protection, healing, and education for vulnerable women and children.

A moving segment called “The Story of Hope” shared short testimonies of residents whose lives have been transformed through the care and safety provided by the home. Their stories reflected a journey from hardship and uncertainty to hope, peace, and a brighter future.

The evening concluded with a Candle Ceremony, reminding everyone present that God’s light never abandons His children. The moment invited guests to reflect on our call to be our brother’s keeper, sharing the love we have received from God with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Behind every building we construct is a child whose life is being restored. Your donation helps provide shelter, education, and a future filled with hope. Together, we can turn compassion into action and bring radiant light to children who need it most.

“These gatherings of One Plate, One Hope – a Dinner for a Cause should continue its mission of bringing hope, healing and new life to the most vulnerable of my kababayans (countrymen) who need it most, specially in this era when the world is in chaos” — Anonymous
