On September 30, 2025, a powerful 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck Bogo, Cebu—shaking nearby communities and filling many hearts with fear. Yet amidst the devastation, we witnessed a grace-filled miracle: the Safe Haven for Children in Sitio Ylaya, Tominjao, Tuburan—just 37.2 miles from the epicenter—remained untouched.
This sanctuary, still under construction, stood firm as a symbol of God’s protection and faithfulness. It is a reminder that this mission—built through your prayers, generosity, and compassion—is guided by a higher hand.
As we continue building this refuge for children rescued from abuse and exploitation, we do so with renewed gratitude and faith. The earth may shake, but hope stands unshaken.
