A DINNER FOR A CAUSE
The August 9, 2025 One Plate One Hope (OPOH) Dinner for a Cause at World Gourmet was a beautiful testament to generosity and compassion. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Rebecca and Vitaliano Irineo, dedicated Board Members of Radiant Light Philippines, Inc., the evening became an unforgettable celebration of music, movement, and mission.
With lively DJ sets, dance instructors leading line dances and Zumba, and a playlist filled with beloved hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, the night sparkled with joy and energy. At first, even our board members found it hard to imagine that 200 people would respond to an event at $75 a plate. Yet, as the doors opened, guests kept arriving—until the room was filled with 170 generous hearts eager to share in a night of purpose.
Throughout the evening, attendees listened intently to the sacred mission of Radiant Light Philippines and the staggering statistics of sexual abuse affecting children in the Philippines. Moved by the cause, they purchased raffle tickets, made donations, and opened their wallets—and hearts—to help bring hope and protection to the most vulnerable.
It was more than an evening of gourmet food and dancing. It was a radiant gathering where joy met generosity, proving once again that when people come together in love and purpose, miracles can happen.
