A DANCE FOR A CAUSE
On July 27, 2025, Dance for a Cause came to life as a beautiful, last-minute inspiration. Since Radiant Light Philippines, Inc. had not yet held an event that month, the Maglaya sisters—regular participants at the Kennedy Park Zumba and line dancing sessions—decided to turn their passion into purpose. They organized a lively Zumba gathering followed by merienda at Dabarkadz Bistro, inviting fellow dance enthusiasts to learn about our foundation.
For many of the participants, this was their first introduction to Radiant Light Philippines, Inc. and its four-pronged advocacies. The joyful event proved to be both fun and meaningful, showing how even casual community gatherings can become opportunities to serve a sacred mission.
We are especially grateful to Loyda Villanueva, whose personal advocacy is to promote health and wellness among seniors and millennials. Not only does she provide free weekly instruction, but she also offered to give Radiant Light Philippines, Inc. a free Zumba class for future One Plate, One Hope events.
The day reminded us of a profound truth: “We are all our brother’s keeper.” Through music, movement, and fellowship, we were able to share our cause and inspire new hearts to walk with us in serving our brothers and sisters in Christ.
All I know is that I am so blessed at my age to be able to move and dance like I am still in my 20s or 30 year old. Every 10 years I ask God will I be able to still dance with same energy in my 40’s, 50’s and now I will turn 70 I still can dance, God is Good!! That is why I chose to be Zumba instructor for free, no charge because this is my passion, Not all money is important. If you are blessed with good health and is able to share this blessings God is Happy!!! And blessings comes back to you triple or more times.
